Culture: As Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Prostrates for Morris Cerullo (photos)

One would have thought that at his age and with the kind of influence and wealth he commands, the former president of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor would not have considered himself bowing down not to talk of prostrating to someone.

But the general overseer of World of Life Bible Church, proved everyone wrong when recently he demonstrated before all that he has not forgotten his culture and tradition of showing respect to elders and prostrated for the popular American Televangelist, Morris Cerullo and his wife Theresa during their visit to Nigeria at the request of the former CAN president.

This however is a lesson for the younger generation of men and women of God to follow. We are first African before being Christians. Christianity on its part taught respect for parents and elderly ones.
