When Jesus Saw Their Faith

Faith is an invisible act that translates to a visible action. It was the faith of the people bearing the sick that made them to do all they could to bring the man to Jesus.

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
Mk.2:1-12
The bible told us that Jesus was in a house preaching the word unto them. He was not there for exhibition. He was not there for a feast or to relax. He was there to preach the word to his visitors as well as his hosts.
The people who brought the sick guy believed in the word of Jesus that was why they made it their responsibility to get their friend to his presence.

Jesus could see one thing only in every man that comes to him. Once he could see an element of faith in you, you are entitling to his miracle. He saw faith in the ruler of the synagogue, woman with the issue of blood, the centurion, blind Bartimaeus and others who drew miracles out of him through their attitudes.

Faith is an attitude. It is a lifestyle that never accepts NO for an answer. As if to say, Jesus is incapacitated without faith in the heart of the people coming to him. And it use to baffle me when we expect Jesus to see how many years we have been in a particular position, how we are going through pains, and one of the world’s most difficult situation.
May I say this to you my beloved, Jesus knows all that you are going through, he is aware of whatever challenges that is confronting you presently. He wants to see something new (faith) in you.

Faith simplifies our access to miracle before Jesus. Faith is what the Lord is looking for in every man. What demystified miracle is faith. Unbelief denies will deny you access to the benefits of the things that Jesus paid for at the cross of Calvary. We need faith to access the things that have been freely given to us!
