broke out earlier today that the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian
Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye paid a condolence visit to the family of the
murdered pastor, Eunice Elisha.
Good
as this may sound; this is therefore not what we want to hear. What we want is good
news from the FCT police chief that the perpetrators of this wicked act have
been arrested and in the process of being arraign in court for murder. Until
then we may assumed the security apparatus of government is inactive for the masses
in this country.
My heart bleeds as I pen this piece. A mother of seven slaughtered in cold blood and we say we have a country? Sometimes one is tempted to ask if there is government or not in this country?
The death of pastor Eunice is one death too many that should not be
swept under the carpet. Proper machinery of government should be deployed to
investigate and brought the murderers to book.
In
an ideal society heads should have rolled by now!
